Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman is an American gymnast who had been both an athlete and captain for the Fierce Five team in 2012 team as well as 2016 Final Five US Women's Olympic Gymnastics team. Aly Raisman took home three gold medals at the 2012 Olympics at London. She also took home a bronze medal on balance beam. She became the first American to be awarded the most Olympic medals. She took gold in the team competition during the 2016 Olympics that made her and Gabby Douglas first Americans to be the first pair of gold medalists back-to-back. Silver medals were also awarded for the all-around competition and floor exercise. Between the two Olympics she took a break from gymnastics competition for three years. Additionally, she was one of the gold medal winning American teams in two World Championships. Her first experience with gymnastics began at age of 2 and her most loved activity is Floor Exercise. Aly donates to the Uniting Against Lung Cancer charity in honor of her departed grandmother. Aly plans on pursuing an occupation as a designer. The next goal she has is expanding her trademark line of leotards. She is writing a book titled Fierce to be published at the end of this year.
